Nearing the end of the world/ Fast am Ende der Welt

So, we just traveled another 1000km or so South and are now here:

All in all, I covered quite a bit of distance since leaving Buenos Aires:

The landscape has changed markedly since  Bariloche which with lakes, trees and snow capped mountains looked a lot like back home in Switzerland. Now most of the vegetation is gone but the mountains are still there:

And I know I am behind on writing but as my sister said, this means I am having fun and enjoying my vacation. And I promise I will catch up :)
